Ohana Rentals

Privacy Policy

Last updated September 2026

The short version

This page is an overview of Ohana and links to our two rentals. It has no forms, sets no cookies and runs no analytics. The only data involved is what our hosting provider needs to deliver the page.

Who is responsible

The controller for ohanarentals.tech is Moritz Meyer, Waldstrasse 12, 27243 Harpstedt, Germany. Reach us at boards.ohana@gmail.com.

This inbox is shared by the two people behind Ohana, Gabriele Inama and Moritz Meyer. Whoever reads your message uses it only to answer you, and passes it on to whoever is responsible for the rental it is about.

The two rentals are run separately, each with its own controller, privacy policy and terms. Once you follow a link to one of them, its policy applies:

What happens when you visit this page

We set no cookies and run no analytics. There is no tracking pixel, no advertising tag and no consent banner, because there is nothing to consent to. Our fonts are served from our own domain, not from Google, so loading the page does not send your IP address to a third party.

The site is hosted by Netlify (Netlify, Inc., USA), which keeps short-lived server logs, including IP addresses, to deliver the site and defend against attacks and abuse. Netlify processes this on our behalf. Transfers to the United States rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. Logs are kept as long as Netlify keeps them, usually no more than 30 days. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in a working, secure site (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

If you tap one of our social links, you leave this site and Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok or WhatsApp process your data under their own privacy policies.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask for a copy of your data, have it corrected or deleted, restrict or object to its use, and receive it in a portable format. Email boards.ohana@gmail.com and we will answer within one month.

You can also complain to the Portuguese data protection authority, CNPD (cnpd.pt), or to the authority where you live or work.

Changes

If this page starts collecting anything, for example through a contact form, we update this policy and the date at the top first.
